I was under the impression that DVDFab Platinum in the express mode was not giving as good quality as Recode was but after downloading the trial version and doing a bit of testing I found on most instances DVDFab put out a better quality product then recode was.

Easy solution I will purchase DVDFAB Platinum seems like a very good product.
