_chef_ you said that in Germany there are already HD channels like pro7 . yes but in the moment not so many people can receive this, because there are still no settop boxes or cable available. The same with Premiere.
The only way you can receive and view HD Pro7 is on satellite with a DVB-S Card connected to the PC. But what's the point? you cannot see this on your HD-Ready TV, because you can't connect the PC with DVI to the TV.
You can only use your PC monitor, and that's normally not so big. More than a 24" PC monitor is really very expensive.
So I don't know what to do, I'll probably have to wait for a few years till the technology is catching up.
