I've tried everything suggested and everything I know of. I've even uninstalled the game and re-installed it. No luck. I'm sure it's Alcohol because I did have that software on my computer thanks to my friend. I've removed everything I can seeof it except the registry keys because the ones I can find posted in forums are related to ver. 1.9.odd (not 1.4.odd).

If possibly it is one of the other programs you've mentioned, wouldn't I have to manually install them and know about them as I did with Alcohol?
