clonedvd does allow you to cut within chapters. in the preview screen there is a little scissors icon that allows this. so you can get rid of intros or cut of credits to reduce compression.

the only thing that shrink has that i wish clonedvd did is its capacity for mixed compression.

I'm not arguing for one or the other. I have both.

unfortunately though, dvd shrink had to get shut down, and at some point people are going to have to deal with the fact that it no longer works. it's deficiencies are already glaringly obvious, and I salute the folks over at slysoft for even attempting to make dvd shrink salvageable for a little while longer through changes to anydvd.
