I've purchased several region2 TV series from Amazon.uk. Others on
eBay. Never occurred to me there might be a problem, and there wasn't. To play on a home unit you'll need a DVD player that can handle PAL (some do, some don't) and either is region free or make a region free backup to watch. Otherwise I haven't had problems.
Is there a program that converts from PAL to NTSC?
