Good thread, very informative. I live in the U.S. and several movies that I want and are only available on VHS in Region1 ARE available on DVD in region2. White Buffalo (Charles Bronson western), and King Kong (1933) until just 3 weeks ago when it was released in R1, for instance. I wish to order such movies through Amazon but am not sure if they can legally sell R2 movies and ship them to me in the USA. Anyone know?
