Re: UDF and InCD

That may be true, ripit.... but AFAIK the packet-writing principle has been around since the time of the CD-RW (please correct me if I am wrong) and with the behavior of DVD-RW/+RW in terms of reusable optical storage offered plenty of avenues for software manufacturers such as Ahead to plug the holes of the packet-writing principle. I guess... that as long as the burning software works properly no one pays heed to what packet writing is. More like a disowned child treatment from software manufacturers. But then can it be possible that the way Windows handles storage may also be responsible for this? Is this packet writing principle also available\applicable for Linux? (I am sorry if this sounds like a stupid question )

Thx,
Aquarius
