If you believe the cause of your CRC errors is a scratched DVD disk suggest viewing the below links concerning removing scratches from CD/DVD.

The DVD Decrypter software program is a very tolerant ‘reading’ software program. I seriously doubt if you can find a software program that is going to do a better job of retrieving data from a DVD.

If using the above referenced procedures fails to remove the scratches from DVD then I would suggest attempting to find someone that has one of the noted good readers/rippers like the Lite-On LTD-163/Lite-On LTD-165/Lite-On SOHD-167T/Lite-On SOHD-16P9S DVD-ROMS. Quite possible one of these noted good readers/rippers might do a better job that the DVD devise you are currently using.
