Nero Burning ROM 6.6.0.3 Enterprise Edition

DVD Copied: Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back (Widescreen), Region 1 NTSC

I used DVD Platinum (Gold Mode) 2.82, to split the Full Disc onto 2 Maxell DVD-Rs. First I use DVDfab to copy the DVD to the hard drive, then later I use Nero to burn the movie to 2 DVD-Rs. I remove all the restriction of the DVD. I set RCE region automatically.

But when I play the DVD-Rs on my set top DVD player on my regular TV, the picture is darker than the original DVD (especially in the Hoth Snow Battle scenes where the white snow looks darker than original). The darker picture happens on all of my DVD players.

Why is the picture on the copied DVDs darker than the original DVD? How can I fix this problem? Is this a Macrovision issue? Or should I set the Region to 1? Or is it a setting in Nero?
