Alright, I just got my DVD burner this weekend and am having some trouble. First I tried to use an all in one prgram, I believe it was Sonic MyDvd and none of the DVD's I made with that worked on my DVD player..then I tried
DVD Santa 3 out. And this program successfully converts my avi files to DVD format that will play on my DVD player....BUT a good inch and half of the screen is chopped off at the bottom and the top. Which itself is not a HUGE problem...except the stuff I am trying to burn is mostly lecturing..so the lecturers head is off the screen some of the time.
A friend of mine had suggested that I use WinAVI converter and burn with
Nero 6, but I'm having the same problem. Losing a good portion of the picture to chop. (There is a little pixelation in the picture, but I expected a drop in quality after reading all the forums I've read this weekend.)
So is this normal? Is it part of the loss of quality that you guys are talking about? Is there anything I can do to keep the picture whole?
