The Canopus is overpriced. Take a look at the Plextor unit, and the ADS Pyro AV/LINK. They do the same thing for quite a bit less. The ADS unit is recommended by www.videoguys.com. For around $150.00 you get the unit, and Adobe Premiere Elements software (a good video editing solution). The ATI AIW solutions do a pretty good job as well.
