I problably am the bigest newbie here, in fact i am quite new to computers to so please try to understand.

My question is: Is this cd drive able to read and burn DVD (+) r's?

I recently burned a movie using DVD-r's and it worked so i know the drive works.

Can you help? What other information do you need.
