I purchased CopytoDVD and BlindWrite for my own machine in Feb and for my daughter's in March. I just discovered that backup discs on DVD made by CopytoDVD can't be recognized by Windows XP on either machine. CD's work fine, and BlindWrite will copy DVD's, but simple DVD backups are unreadable, even on the very drive that wrote them. Different high-end PC's, and two different types of Plextor drives (one internal, one external, a PX-712UF (USB 2). I've reinstalled the software on each, and the drives will make perfect DVD data backups usiing Roxio ECD's Creator Classic to do the job. I sent an e-mail to VSO but haven't received an answer. I suspect I'm doing something wrong that's very elementary.
